We had a fantastic time staying here with friends! We checked out the local live music scene and even joined a quiz night at a nearby pub. The staff was super friendly, and the location was great...

    clean room
    comfortable bed
    good beer selection
    missing bath towel

I had a lovely stay, enjoying a clean and comfy double room with a nice hot shower after a long day. The bar had a good selection of beers and I appreciated the cozy TV lounge for some relaxation. The only downside was that there were no extra bath towels, but that wasn't a big deal. 😊

    good value

It was just a prime choice for taking strolls in Shrewsbury with good value. The hot chocolate was lovely and a nice treat. Just check the towel situation before settling in.

    delicious breakfast

Ideal for solo travelers seeking comfort

Staff at this place were outstandingly friendly. I chatted with a guy at the bar who genuinely made me feel welcome and the breakfast was a solid highlight, especially the perfectly cooked eggs.

The price tag wasn’t exactly a steal but still fair for what you get.

enjoy walking to abbey gardens and shrewsbury castle nearby

I had a great stay with good food and friendly staff, and what I loved most was how easy it was to stroll to both Abbey Gardens and Shrewsbury Castle, making my weekend exploration a breeze. I also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle of town while still being close enough to enjoy the vibrant local scene. The room was comfortable for a solo traveler, perfect for resting after a day of city wandering.

    worn-out room

    Cozy breakfast spot!

We stayed for a night and found the bar area super clean with a warm welcome from the manager. The breakfast was amazing, especially hearing all about Shrewsbury from the lovely cook! Just wished the room was fresher as there were some scruffy walls and an annoying noise from above that messed up our sleep.

    bingo night

After a lovely 3-night stay, I was impressed by the curry and steak nights. The buzzing bingo night with locals. The large, comfortable room was a treat!

Felt like it was a home away from home, no complaints.
